Vincent Jackson has agreed to a deal with Tampa Bay, according to multiple reports. A source told FOXSports.com's Jay Glazer that Jackson has signed a five-year deal worth $55,555,555 with $26 million guaranteed. Jackson will earn $26 million in the first two years, and will be given $10 million in Year 3. See the best Tampa Bay Buccaneers action, or check out your favorite NFL team here. Jackson, who played with the Chargers for seven seasons and was slapped with a franchise tag last year, was finally able to test the free-agent market after it became clear San Diego had no interest in re-signing him. In 2010, Jackson was involved in a contract dispute when the NFL’s collective bargaining agreement expired. Jackson became a restricted free agent, causing San Diego to give him a one-year, $3.2 million tender, which did not satisfy him. Jackson held out of training camp in the hopes of landing a long-term deal. Jackson played in just five games. While Jackson was a dependable and productive target for quarterback Philip Rivers, he also had his share of off-field problems. While with the Chargers, he was arrested twice for suspicion of driving under the influence. In 2009, Jackson pleaded guilty to a DUI charge while on probation after pleading guilty in a 2006 case. Jackson played in 16 games in 2011, racking up 60 receptions for 1,106 yards and nine touchdowns. Jackson has made two trips to the Pro Bowl in his career.
